Chapter 10 discusses analyzing advertisements page 309-322. 

Find Belizean advertisements that you feel can be placed under the following categories:

1.       Conflicting Positions- Analyze the appeals used in each advertisement. State the methods of persuasions that, in your opinion, were most effective. Be prepared to justify your response.

2.       Competing Products – Identify the emotional appeals used. Discuss to the target audience and the potential reaction that may be caused by the advertisement.

3.       Popular Appeals- Do you find the advertisements argument logical and persuasive? Justify your response.

Note:

We will discuss your findings in class after which your will be asked to submit your ads along with your written reaction/comments/justification to all three sections.
